About Us
Fannin Bank is a community bank in every sense of the word and the only locally-owned bank in Fannin County. Fannin Bank started over one hundred years ago in November 1921 as Guaranty State Bank in Windom, Texas. The name was changed to Fannin Bank in 1976, and in 1987, a branch was opened in Bonham, Texas. In 2008, the Honey Grove branch opened, and the bank headquarters was moved from Windom to Bonham, Texas. The Fannin Bank Mortgage Office opened in 2018, further expanding our ability to service Fannin County and the surrounding area. For more than a century, Fannin Bank has proudly servedĀ Fannin County and the surrounding area by employing the people of the communities we serve, supporting local organizations like the independent school districts of Fannin County, Women Rock, the Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Creative Arts Center, to name a few. Today, Fannin Bank manages over 140 million in assets and is committed to remaining independent and locally owned. At Fannin Bank, you are not a number but our neighbor, and we are here to help you reach your financial goals.
